Classes

"And I heard as it were the noise of thunder one of four marshals saying, `There is no hope, only rules.`"

As briefly explained in the Core Rules, Classes are lists of Ability "archetypes" in the sense they define a mechanical and plot synergistic scope of Skills, Powers, and special Abilities a character has access to, depending on which Class Lists they have learned, and how much they have invested into them.

Overview

There are presently 6 Basic Classes, 12 Expert Classes, 14 Master Classes in the game. Each class is tied to one or more of six character Attributes. There are also 7 Trademark Classes, which are special, supplementary, role play-intensive "side" classes independent of the normal ranked Classes. Special Class Lists called Super Lists also exist, but knowledge of the specific Abilities of any Super List is only given directly to players who have unlocked that particular Super Class in-game.

For the specific rules regarding how to invest Levels into Classes, please refer to Learning Classes. For more information on how to earn and invest into Trademarks or Super Lists, please refer to Special Lists
